We use our Kubota R520 wheel loader to move the big wood to a area where it can then be loaded onto the Grapple truck.
Our chipper is a Vermeer model1400XLT. This chipper is powered by a 122HP Caterpillar diesel engine. It features self feeding rollers, red safety bars that when touched by a worker the machine stops feeding wood into the cutter head immediately.
